FIXED INCOME TRADING - US$
Foreign currency fixed-income securities are available in
all types of maturities. Maturities range from 30 days to
365 days and if you wish to make an outright purchase this
can be accommodated.
We favour trading in Government of Jamaica US and EURO Bonds
and the returns are more attractive.
We can open managed accounts for you with out overseas brokers
but there is a dollar limit for this.

US$ Bond
US$ Bonds are issued occasionally, sometimes no more that
once for the year. These are paid for in US$, and principal
and interest are repaid in US$ as well. The minimum is set
is US$1,000.
GOJ Eurobonds.
These instruments are book value only, and are sold by our Central bank to the overseas market. These can be purchased through us. They are paid for in US$ or Euros, with the minimum being 10,000 US$/Euros. Currently, tenures are from 2-years to 20-years. Interest is paid half-yearly or quarterly.
