Barita Portfolio Management (BPM) is a
privately owned company, that was formed
in 1993 to manage the portfolio needs of
pension funds, institutions and individual
investors.
BPM serves a growing client base of over
1,000 clients which includes several Blue
Chip companies, with assets of $1.8 billion
under management. As Investment Managers
the company provides investment advice to
many external Corporate and Pension Fund
Managers.
Barita Portfolio is a member of the Barita
Group which includes Barita Unit Trust and
Barita Investments Limited. These companies
provide a full range of financial services:
investment research, asset management, capital
growth and money market funds, equity and
fixed income sales, trading and correspondent
services. BPM has access to these resources
as well as the staff complement of over
40 persons.
In September 2004, the Barita Group through
its flagship company Barita Investments,
celebrated 27 years of excellence in
service, prudent management and stability
that have made it a well respected stalwart
in the industry. Barita Investments Limited,
which was founded in 1977 by Rita Humphries-Lewin,
is the oldest stock broking company in Jamaica.
The Managing Directors for Barita Portfolio
Management are Peta-Rose Hall and John Hall.
In addition, other Board Directors are:
Rita Humphries-Lewin, Dan Kelly, Karl Lewin
and Richard Lake.
BPM is licensed by the Securities Commission
to execute Investments for :

- Individual Clients
- Pension Funds
The company is also a Manager for Money
